I remember the painting that illustrates this article! Marsha Savage posted it on WetCanvas and we all got to watch as she made a good painting into an excellent one. It's a favorite of mine, and obviously others have chosen it, too. Glad to see it again...

How wonderful to receive my e-mail telling me the blog was up and when I looked, there was my painting from the last Southeastern Pastel Society show where it won Best in Show.
