Don't you love it when loved ones buy you art? I was more than pleased when I was gifted recently with a lovely pastel painting by Brian Mathas Burt. It's pictured here on a spare easel, where it will live until I decide where to hang it. In preparation for this post on the blog, I visited the artist's website only to discover that he's recently been featured on the evening news for his Obama-inspired work.
